Autumn Graphics offers a complete service from design to print. The typical workflow looks like this:
brief > quote > design > approval > print > deliver

Brief

This is the all-important first step. The briefing process is where we sort out who, what, where, when and how. The better that you can communicate what you need, the more efficiently the designer will be able to work, which will cost you less money, and ensure a timely and satisfactory result.

Quote

Once the brief  is taken, we’ll draw up a detailed quote for you. This will ensure no nasty surprises. Company policy requires a 50% deposit before we can move to the next step.

Design

This is where all the hard work is done. Depending on the project, it may be necessary to consult with you during the design process. For an introduction to graphic design, check out Wikipedia.

Approval

Acrobat PDF proofs will be emailed you. This step is critical to the success of the job. Spend plenty of time carefully looking over the job, proof-reading. Check again that the specifications are correct. Get a second person to look over it carefully too. There’s nothing more heart-breaking (and expensive) than noticing a mistake after it’s printed. Final sign-off is required on all proofs, and printing will not commence without it.

Print

Autumn Graphics can organise all your print requirements. It takes 5-6 working days from proof approval to delivery. If you need the job by a particular date, please specify this at the time of briefing. Even if you do not have a particular time constraint, it’s better to put one down than just “ASAP” or ‘yesterday’. The more time that you allow for the job to be completed, the better the result will be.

If you already have a relationship with a printer, we can supply print-ready artwork to their specifications. Note that the PDFs received at approval stage are generally low-res and are not suitable for your printer.

We can organise delivery of your job, via courier.
